Jussi Jokinen

Jussi Jokinen (born the 1 {{er}} April 1983 with Kalajoki in Finland) is a professional player of Hockey.

Jokinen does not have family ties with Olli Jokinen but has a brother Cadet, Juho, which evolves/moves in the club of TPS Turku in the first Finnish division (Sm-liiga).

Career in club

It begins its career in 1999 - 2000 in the championship junior of its country for the team of the Kärpät Oulu. He effecute two seasons in the championship and is elected at the time of his first season better Finnish player of less than 17 years. In 2001, it takes part in the fishing out of entry in the National league of hockey. The Stars of Dallas choose it as a 192e choice of the sixth round. During the season which follows, it makes its beginnings in the championship senior (Sm-liiga) of his country, always with Kärpät. In 2004 and 2005, it gains with its club the championship of Finland.

It makes its beginnings in the LNH at the time of the season 2005-06 and gains as of its first season a reputation of good shot of Tir of shooting. In 2007, it takes part in the 55 {{E}} Match of the Stars of the LNH with the young high-speed motorboats and it registers a goal and a passes decisive.

International career

It represents less the Finland for the first time in 2001 at the time of the championships of the world than 18 years. In 2002 and 2003, it takes part in the championships junior and gains the bronze medal twice.

In 2005, it takes part in the championship senior but its team is eliminated in quarterfinals by the Russia.

Jokinen belongs to the team of Finland which gains the money medal during the tournament 2006 of the Winter Olympics to Turin in Italy.
