Jurassic Federation
In the years 1870, the Jurassic Fédération was representing it of the Anarchism in Switzerland. Acquired with the ideas of Bakounine, she affirms herself during one decade like the figurehead of International the anarchist. The Pact of Saint-Imier, birth certificate of International the anarchist, was adopted the September 15th 1872 within the framework of an extraordinary congress convened in the urgency by the Jurassic Federation at the following day of the congress of the International association of the workers to $the Hague.
Active at the origin especially in the Bernese Jura and the Mountains neuchâteloises, it weaves little by little its fabric and with its apogee, towards 1877, it counts about thirty sections distributed in the cantons of Bern, Neuchâtel, Basle, Vaud and Freiburg.
Its claims are expressed in the columns of the Bulletin of the Jurassic Federation , published between 1872 and 1878. The Jurassic Federation disappears in 1880, under the blow of ideological dissensions and of the mechanization of clock making industry.
