Junkers

Junkers & Co are a German metallurgical company. It was founded in 1895 by Hugo Junkers with Dessau. It produced in the beginning various inventions of the founder like gas rings. Currently, Junkers is a mark of the group Bosch.

The name Junkers is however often attached to the planes: in 1915, Hugo Junkers completely develops the first Avion out of metal, the Junkers J1. In 1928, Köhl, Hünefeld and Fitzmaurice cross the Atlantique for the first time of is in west with a Junkers W 33.

The planes the most known products by Junkers are undoubtedly the Junkers Ju 52 /3m (known under the name of Aunt Ju ) and the Bombardier in piqué (Stuka) sadly celebrates Junkers Ju 87. Hugo Junkers died in 1935. The Junkers company however built many other planes during the Second world war.
