  • 334 : Law of Constantin I {{er}} on the supervision of the widows and the orphans.

  • 1081 : The Normands led by Robert Guiscard invade the Balkans and are in front of Dyrrachium (Durazzo), in Dalmatie, which they will occupy until in 1085.
  • 1317 : Alain Gonthier, is named bishop of Saint-Malo. It will remain it until its nomination like bishop of Quimper in 1333.
  • 1789 : The General states, on proposal of Sieyès, are transformed into National Assembly.

20th century

  • 1923 : Dedication of the Notre-Dame Church of Raincy, monument emblematic of the Modern architecture, built by the brothers Gustave and Auguste Perret.

  • 1940 :
    • Towards 15:30, the ship Lancastria , charged of more than: 7,000 soldiers and civilians, is run by the Luftwaffe with broad of the Evens close to Saint-Nazaire.
    • the Pétain Marshal invites to cease the combat and requires the Armistice (signed the June 22nd)
  • 1944: Proclamation with Thingvellir of the independence of the Republic of Iceland - up to that point attached to the kingdom of Denmark - the day of the 133e birthday of the birth of Jón Sigurðsson, the chief of the Icelandic pacifist movement.
