2002 : At the time of the traditional procession of July 14th in Paris, Maxime Brunerie, suffering mental disorders, near the nationalist movement radical Unit and former candidate on the list MNR in Paris, left a rifle with an aim, supposedly, of assassinating the president of the Republic Jacques Chirac. Any danger was quickly drawn aside and the condemned defendant.
