Julius Weise
Julius Weise is a German Entomologiste , born the June 6th 1844 with Sommerfeld and dead the February 25th 1925 with Herichsdorf close to Warmbrunn.
This specialist in the coleopters (ladybird S and chrysomèles), prolific scientist, was one of the first to use the genitalias to identify and classify S.
Its collections of Chrysomelidae, of Coccinellidae, Staphylinidae and Carabidae are preserved at the Musée of zoology of Berlin; those of Cerambycidae to U.S. National Museum off Natural History with Washington; those of Curculionidae and Scolytidae to the Natural history museum Senckenberg of Francfort-sur-le-Main; part of the Chrysomelidae and Coccinellidae with the Swedish Natural history museum of natural history of Stockholm.
