Julius Lothar Meyer

Julius Lothar Meyer (born with Varel the August 19th 1830 - died with Tübingen the April 11th 1895) was a German chemist.

He established, independently of Mendeleïev, a classification of the elements highlighting the periodicity of their properties. The Royal Society decreed the Davy Médaille to him in 1882.
