Julien Satonnet
Julien Satonnet is a French politician born the July 27th 1889 and deceased the July 8th 1954.
Member of the French Section of the International worker, it is very close to Paul Faure, his general secretary, and of the deputy Georges Nouelle, both politically established in Saône-et-Loire. There remains to them faithful under the occupation and with the Release, taking part with them in the creation of the democratic Socialist party and the Rassemblement of the Republican lefts, center coalition influential under the Fourth Republic after their common exclusion of SFIO.
In 1946, Georges Nouelle, remained mayor of Chalon-sur-Saône under the occupation, is declared ineligible. Julien Satonnet, elected the same year with the Senate and the General advice of the department, replaces it in his functions of mayor the time of a mandature, before returning his functions in 1952 to him. He dies two years later.
