Julien Pinol

Born in Haute-Savoie in 1972, Julien Pinol , after studies with Decorative Arts and the Art schools of Geneva (Swiss), composes and interprets its first disc at 24 years " Only émoi". As the title lets it suggest, he only plays on this album accompanied by his guitar of which he succeeds in extirpating strange sounds. Then it carries out many CD as a type-setter and interprets (guitar and double bass, inter alia) " Abou Simbel" , " We free" (1999), " Banquet" (2000), " Beethoven" (2001) in a qualified style of Free jazz although its style is not easily qualifiable. Julien Pinol also composes of the operas. In Alhambra (Geneva, Switzerland), in December 2003 it directs its own " creation; Über Gewissheit" , based on the ultimate writings of the Austrian philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein. On this same scene, in December 2004, it continues its exploration with a noticed adaptation of the " Corbeau" according to the poem of Edgar Allan Poe. Third opera, " The Lark lulu" will be played Theater of Carouge (Geneva, Switzerland) May 4th and 5th 2007. It directs a choral society in addition and animates workshops for the children with the Bubble of air (workshops of musical awakening for children).
