Julien Hapiot

Julien Hapiot was militant a communist and resistant French (1913 - September 13rd 1943).

It engages in 1936 in the international Brigades in Spain where it is seriously wounded. In 1939, it is one of the leaders of Communist youths of the Pas-de-Calais then becomes the national secretary of the Communist youth of France. It is at the origin with Michel Brulé of the strike of the minors of the North which will last from May 26th to June 10th, 1941.

It is stopped in 1943 and is shot with the citadel of Arras on September 13rd, 1943.
