Julien Duvivier October 8th 1896 with Lille - October 30th 1967 with Paris (in an car accident) was a Réalisateur French.

In the Years 1930, it belongs to the production company Film of Art of Marcel Vandal and Charles Delac where it practices team work.

He is the inventor of a universe of images where realism more believed and often very black is penetrated of a strange imagination. After the Second world war, it gives a representation quite as pessimistic of the French company, as it shows dominated by hypocrisy, the narrow clericalism, the meanness and the female rouery.

Exhaustive digest of the cheappest instincts and low of the human nature, the film Panique remains the most personal film, blackest and most nihilist of its author. Work will be a bitter failure at the time of its exit in 1946.
