Julien Blaine

Julien Blaine , born in 1942 in Rognac (under the patronym Christian Poitevin ), is a Poète French, which was one of the creators of the Poésie action and which took part in the life of poetry performance in France like abroad.

Biography

Julien Blaine creates his first review at the 20 years age: Notebooks of Octéor. And in parallel, it launches out in the performance, poetry action, with Reps elephant 306. This performance is composed starting from an interview of elephant, which it will reprocess on tape. Consequently, it will deepen these two fields on a side the publication and the setting in question of this support. Other the poetry action, which breaks with the traditional reading, as well as what could make Bernard Heidsieck with the sound Poésie. In 1988, it creates the international meetings of poetry of Tarascon, then in 1989 it creates the international Center of Poetry of Marseilles CIPM.

The review Doc. (K) S

It creates in 1973 the international review Doc. (K) S, which with poetic Action is now one of the oldest reviews of French poetry. The review Doc. (K) S is not a traditional review of poetry, but she seeks to reveal poetry in what she has of more various. This is why the numbers are devoted so much to topics than with countries, regions of the world. The review Doc. (K) S becomes in this direction a real document for those which want to approach all the contemporary poetic methods. Elel becomes a crossroads of the experiments of writing. From 1990 Julien Blaine gives up the direction and the edition Of DOC. (K) S with Akenaton (Philippe Castellin and Jean Torregrosa), group of poets and performers intermedia which engages DOC. (K) S in the exploration of the new possibilities offered by the development of the numerical one.

The stop of the performance

In 2005, it decides, at the time of its 60 years to stop the performance, to launch out in the déclar' action. It is a question for him of transforming its mode of intervention, which will be more connected to the language with the action. It organizes to celebrate this stop, a round “Bye-bye the perf'” which will last one year. Each evening it will be surrounded as well of young writers as of the fellow travellers.

An elementary poetry

Julien Blaine, throughout his publications, wonders about the direction, his formation, and in which direction it is constituted. This research was constituted like elementary poetry . The characteristic of elementary poetry holds so that any element meaning is built-in the poem.
