Julien Bertheau

Julien Bertheau (June 19th 1910 with Algiers (Algeria) - October 28th 1995) is a Acteur French.

He was one of the preferred actors of Luis Buñuel, for example his police chief in That is called the dawn (1955), his Master of hotel in the Milky Way (1969), bishop in the discrete Charm of the middle-class (1972) and the prefect of the police force in the Phantom of freedom (1974).

Another appearance celebrates was its Mr Lucien , the ex-lover of the mother of Antoine Doinel in the Love in escape (1978). Previously, it had devoted the major part of its activity to the theater. Before being committed with the Comédie-Française in 1936, he works as manager of the Théâtre of the Door Saint Martin's day, then he studies with Charles Dullin with the theater of the Workshop, plays Comédie of the Fields-Élysées and finally at Louis Jouvet (Horace in the School of the women ). Boarder then Member of the Comédie-Française, it plays the young first of Musset, Marivaux and Labiche.
