Julie Seams
Julie Couture (May 15th 1974 -) is a Canadian Journaliste born with Quebec. Today, it is Chef of antenna for the Channel News (LCN) and for the Réseau VAT.
Biography
Born in Quebec in 1974, Julie Couture studied in political sciences and international relations at the Laval University then at the University of Ottawa.Julie worked during 2 years at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and of the International business in Ottawa. She also worked with the cabinet of the Minister for the francophonie before beginning her career from journalist at station TVA-CHOT in Outaouais. In 2001, she moves in Montreal to work as chief of antenna with LCN. It joint thereafter with the team of I, always with network VAT. In 2002, the network of the information of Radio-Canada, RDI, offers to him the post of journalist to the emission Matin Express train.
In 2005, it turned over to LCN Co-to animate there the emission of the morning in company of another journalist.
In 2006, Julie Couture received threats on behalf of an young man having health issues mental. This man telephoned more than one hundred of times at TVA/LCN in order to utter death threats at the place of the journalist. In July 2006, he pled guilty with charges of harassing and death threats.
In November 2006, the 20 year old young man, who badgered and death threat the journalist Julie Couture LCN, was declared not criminally responsible due to mental disorders.
In February 2007, its attacker was still shown to have uttered, on several occasions, of the death threats in its connection. It has even marked to want to provide itself with a weapon to carry out its threats, which it did not have time to make.
