Julie Billiart

Holy E Julie Billiart (of its true name: Marie-Rose-Julie) was born the July 12th 1751 with Cuvilly, close to Compiegne, in the Oise. She will die in Namur at the 65 years age, on April 8th 1816, in the Institut of the sisters of Notre-Dame whom she had founded a few years earlier. Paralyzed since the 22 years age, it devoted all its life to the teaching and the Christian education of the young girls. Its Béatification will be marked with Rome, by the Pape Pie X, on May 13rd 1906. The pope Paul VI will canonize it on June 22nd 1969. She is celebrated the April 8th.
