Charles, Jules Eudes de Catteville de Mirville , marquis de Mirville was born the April 24th 1802 with the Château from Dies to Gommerville and there is deceased the September 11th 1873.
Parents
He was the son of Alexandre Pierre Marie Eudes de Catteville, marquis of Mirville (1768-1848) and of Agathe de Bouthillier-Chavigny (1777-1855).
Marriage and children
It Maria on March 7th, 1831 with Paris with Mathilde of Pallu (1806-1842) of which he had two girls, Aline (1834-1854) and Blanche (1838-1925).
Biography
Writer scholar, illuminist and medium, last marquis of the name, it was one of the owners of the Château of Dies which it bequeathed to his daughter Blanche of Mirville.
He is the author of very many works on the Spiritisme.
He played a great part in the propagation of the history of the haunted house of Cideville. He then had a very important correspondence with Th. Lacordaire, with the integrist doctor of Bolbec Charles Hétôt which published in 1897 diabolic Névroses and possessions , with numerologists such as the count of Villinouet, and well of others.
