Jules Ramey

Etienne-Jules Ramey is a French sculptor born with Paris in 1796 and died in this same city in 1852.

Biography

Raise of his/her father - the sculptor Claude Ramey, then of Pierre Cartellier, it gained the Prix of Rome of sculpture with a statue having for subject Ulysses recognized by his dog . he is especially known to have decorated with David with Angers the Porte with Aix to Marseilles with 1828 to 1839.

He had opened with Auguste Dumont a very famous workshop.
