Jules Pams

Jules Pams , born with Perpignan the August 14th 1852 and died in Paris the May 12th 1930, is a French politician.

Classified republican Progressist, it was one of the most outstanding personalities of the political life of the III {{E}} République.

It begins its political career in 1889 like candidate with the legislative elections. Elected official general adviser of the canton of Argelès-sur-mer in 1892, it sits at the departmental assembly during 36 years and he is the president during 15 years. Deputy radical socialist of the the Eastern Pyrenees of 1893 with 1904, senator of this date with 1930, he is Minister for the Agriculture of March 1911 with January 1913 in the governments Monis, Caillaux and Poincaré, then Minister of Interior Department in the government Clemenceau of November 1917 with January 1920.

In January 1913, he is unfortunate candidate with the presidency of the Republic against Raymond Poincaré.

He was also delegated France to the Société of the Nations.
