Jules Gosselet

Jules Gosselet (1832 - 1916), is a Géologue French born with Cambrai.

It obtained in 1864 the pulpit of Géologie of the University of Lille lately creates and which was going to become one of the first of France. It founded in 1870 the geological Société of the North, which exists always today. In 1882, the Médaille Murchison of the Geological Society off London was decreed to him. In 1902, it founded a museum now rataché with the Musée of natural history of Lille.
