Jules Garinet
Jules Garinet , born with Châlons-sur-Marne in the 1797, deceased on August 21st, 1877.
Former lawyer with the Royal Court of Paris, honorary Adviser of prefecture, literary man, historian. The name of Garinet given by the town of Châlons to the one of its streets as well refers to popularity as had conquered the son by his high science and its feelings that with the eminent services of the father, former mayor of Châlons, which, inter alia services, devoted its person in 1814 to save the city of the bag and fire of which she was threatened by the Prussian army.
In 1830, it published its Report on the establishment of Christianity with Châlons and on the establishments which are attached to it, and in 1840 its History of the church cathedral of Châlons and its chapter, with evidence, notes and explanations.
He is also the author of a Histoire of the magic in France (1818, republished on several occasions until 2001) and of a Étude on the invasion of Gaules by Attila in 451 (1867).
Several times chair Société of agriculture.
