Jules Butcher

Jules Butcher , born on February 28th 1902 and dead on June 9th 1955, is a writer freemason.

Its course

Jules Boucher entered in masonry at the 41 years age, i.e. during the German occupation. Initiate in 1943 with the clandestine cabin " The arch of alliance" Big room of France to the East of Paris, he was member of several cabins of this obedience.

Exemplary freemason, it lavished with generosity the treasures of his scholarship.

Jules Boucher took part in many maconnic reviews, but its single known work belongs to the tradition. In masonry, one speaks about the Butcher as one speaks about Larousse. Indeed the maconnic Symbolic system is a sum and reference of all the masons of 1948 delivers to 2000, year to which a new version was written by Irene Mainguy.
