Jules Blanchard , French sculptor, was born on May 25th, 1832 with Puiseaux (Loiret), it dies on May 2nd, 1916 with Paris.

Biography

He was the son-in-law of the sculptor Denis Foyatier and was pupil of François Jouffroy. He was in particular in charge of the re-establishment of the fountain of the Palm tree, on the Place of Châtelet, in Paris.
