Jules Beaulac

Jules Beaulac is a man of the church and a writer Québécois. During fifteen years, he exerts his ministry in the prison medium.

Originating in Saint-Hyacinthe, he studies with the small seminar of this town of 1946 with 1954. He obtains a control in Catéchèse with Brussels and a doctorate in theology with Rome.

Of 1964 with 1971, he is spiritual director with the Grand seminar of St-Hyacinthe. Collaborator of the Parliament of the bishops of Quebec, he is then managing director of the Office of the catechesis of Quebec then directs the Office diocesan of Christian education.

Starting from 1986, he is chaplain for the foundation the Good Saint-Pierre who fights against the Multiple sclerosis.

Of 1980 with 1995, he is chaplain and exerts the pastoral mercy in the prisons of Saint-Hyacinthe and Cowansville. Its experiment with the prisoners encourages it to testify some in an autobiography published recently at the editions Novalis.

He endeavors, in his writings, to establish a bond between the Gospel and the life of the every day. He is also poet, having composed of the worms of religious inspiration. In 2006, he had already written about thirty books of spirituality.

Beaulac was the special guest of Radio City-Marie in 2004. It had been the subject of an article in the review the topicality in 2001. He is currently priest in the Diocèse of Saint-Hyacinthe.
