Judith of Bavaria

Judith of Bavaria (805 - 843) is the girl of Welf I {{er}}, count of Bavaria.

She marries Louis I {{er}} (known as Piles) in 819 with Aachen and becomes empress of Occident. Mother of Gisele (819-822) and Charles II (known as the Bald person), future king de France. It is its birth which will cause the dismemberment of the Carolingien empire.
