Juan Fernando Fonseca

Juan Fernando Fonseca , more known like Fonseca , is a Colombian Chanteur , born the May 29th 1979 with Bogota. Its style, strongly influenced by Carlos Vives, is a mixture of Colombian traditional music, like the Vallenato, with other contribution of Latin music.

At age 12, he orchestrated its first project, a proper composition which he transformed into 500 CD which were sold among its family and friendly close relations. And thus it started to live the dream which it had with the spirit since its youth. The support of his/her parents was never absent in its effort to devnir an artist. FONSECA fell under various educational establishments, such as the university of Javeriana in the university of Bogotá and Berklee of the music in Boston, where it acquired the various qualifications which would enable him later to make a success of its vocation of artist.

Thousands of people danced with its songs in the most popular clubs in the country, because they assessed the musical quality of this new artist. The success of this admired artist was magnifié by contracts, excursions and concerts including/understanding the execution with Shakira in Barranquilla during its excursion of mongoose, as well as Juanes in the stage of Campin in the capital city of Bogotá.

Fonseca begins its career in 2002 with a first CD éponyme, Fonseca , which gains a certain success in Colombia. The album contains titles like Magangue , Confiésame , and Noche de Carnaval . In 2005, it leaves second CD at EMI Capitol, entitled Corazón and counts successes like Te Mando Flores , Hace Tiempo , Lagartija Azul , and Mercedes .

Fonseca gained a Latin Grammy for its song Te Mando Flores in 2006 and a Latin MTV America Tongue award for its video Como Reflected me the same year.
