Joystick is super-unpleasant belonging to the universe of Marvel Comics. It appeared for the first time in Amazing Scarlet Spider #2 , in 1995, created by Tom DeFalco and Mark Bagley.

Origin

One does not know large thing about the past of Janice Yanizeski, except the fact that she studied at the University of Arizona.

It disappeared three years before returning under the name of Joystick, a burned head.

It particpa with the Big game, a kind of tournament for super-beings. She faced Scarlet Spider, which she took for Spider-Man, and Kaine.

When she faced the Thunderbolts with the Maîtres of the Evil, she was struck by Songbird. She however joined the group like “new recruit” and faced the Homme Crimson and new the Doctor Spectrum.

Capacities

  • Joystick has a force, an agility and a speed comparable with those of Spider-Man.
  • It doors of the special metal gantelets, which generate each one a stick of energy, enough powerful to break the concrete. By striking the two sticks together, it can emit a ray of force.
  • Its gantelets can also connect àux computers and pirate them.
  • It also makes use of explosives with delayed-action.
