Joyce Carol Oates is a poetess and American novelist born on June 16th, 1938 in Lockport (State of New York).

Biography

Joyce Carol Oates teaches the literature at the university of Princeton where she lives with her husband who directs a literary review, the Ontario Review . She also wrote several detective novels under the pseudonyms of Rosamond Smith and Lauren Kelly. Its novel Blonde inspired of the life of Marilyn Monroe is practically published in the whole world and is worth the unanimous praises of international criticism to him.
