History

Joy Session is a group which exists since 1998, when a group of friends was found in a shelter of a civil protection to make music. After nearly three years of work, the 5 musicians who composed the group presented their compositions Rock “roll and Blues to the public of the Big Boss' Festival in 2000. Then in several places such as the Gas works of Nyon for the Negro spiritual Jam Festival, like in various regional places, such as the Royal one with Tavannes and the dresser of the station with St-Imier.

In 2004, several members of the group withdrew themselves and of new musicians integrated the group; a new departure was given for Joy Session. Currently, 9 musicians of which a chorus-singer and a section of three coppers compose the group. The musical style evolved/moved a little since in addition to the rock'n'roll roll and the blues, the program contains pieces of influence Funk and Soul.
