Jouhikko
The Jouhikko is an instrument resulting from the Celtic culture , which arrived in Finland after having crossed the Sweden.
It is an instrument made up of 4 cords being played bow, its case presents a back strongly hollowed out curvature and a table punt. An opening on the left makes it possible the instrumentalist to pass the end of the fingers to shorten the cords and thus to change the height note. The instrument is played by positioning it on the left leg, its lower end being pressed on the right knee.
