Josh Kronfeld

Josh Kronfeld , Joshua Adrian Kronfeld born the June 20th 1971 with Hastings, is a former player of Rugby New Zealand, evolving/moving at the station of flanker.

Beginning with the province from Otago in 1993, it takes part with it in a victory over the Lions at the time of the round in New Zealand. After a new good season with its province, it integrates the squad Blacks for the World cup of Rugby 1995. It thus makes its beginnings with those at the time of a match of preparation with another beginner Andrew Mehrtens. At the time of the world cup it benefits from the absence from Michael Jones, not retained for its religious convictions which prevent it from playing Sunday, to become titular, in particular marking a test at the time of the half finale against the English. Although Michael Jones took again her place as a flanker on the opened side, it takes part in the round of autumn in France in 1995. There it draws the attention by a contrary stringcourse with the tests Nucléaire S French.

With the replacement of Laurie Hands by John Hart with the head of Blacks, it benefits from replacement from Michael Jones closed side and becomes an indisputable holder until in 2000. This year there, it publishes a biography " one the Loose" showing clearly that he is not a fan of the management of John Hart.

Meanwhile, it took part in the final defeat in half against French at the time of the World cup of Rugby 1999, match lived like a true traumatism in New Zealand.

In 2000, it leaves New Zealand to join the English club of the Leicester Tigers.
