Josetsu

Josetsu () is a painter Japan board of Chinese origin (it was naturalized in 1370) of the Period Muromachi. It used with its founded school with Kyôto the technique of the Suiboku (washing with colors) and at the time imported the fashion of the landscapes in vogue in China. It is thought that he was the Master of Shûbun () and that he also influenced Sesshû () and Kanô Masanobu.
