Joseph Neuberg
Joseph Jean Baptiste Neuberg (October 30th 1840 with Luxembourg - March 22nd 1926 with Liege) is a known Mathématicien for his work in the modern Géométrie of the triangle.
Biography
Joseph Neuberg followed the courses to the Athenaeum (college) of Luxembourg then to the faculty of sciences of the Université of Ghent in 1859. Left in 1862, it started to teach mathematics as professor in various large colleges of Belgium. In 1906, it took Belgian nationality and was elected with the royal Académie of Belgium which it chaired starting from 1911. It founded in 1874 the newspaper Nouvelle mathematical correspondence with Eugene Charles Catalan and Paul Mansion, which will be published during six years.
