Joseph Nelson Pink is a American Botaniste , born the January 11th 1862 with Union County, Indiana and dead the May 4th 1928.
It makes its studies with Liberty, Indiana and also receives its doctorate in Wabash College in the Indiana. It Marie with Lou Beatrice Sims in 1888, union of which will be born three wire and two girls.
He works with the American ministry of Agriculture and becomes off conservative-assistant with the American Museum Natural History in 1896. He specializes then on several S of plants like the Apiaceae and the Cactaceae. He makes several voyages to the Mexico, some of the specimens which he harvest are in particular cultivated in the Botanical garden of New York. With Nathaniel Lord Britton (1859-1934), it makes appear many articles on the Crassulaceae as well as four volumes of The Cactaceae which appear of 1919 with 1923.
