Joseph Bruyère is an old runner cyclist on Belgian road , born the October 5th 1948 with Maastricht with the Netherlands.

Professional of 1970 with 1980, it gained 37 victories.

He was one of the specialists in traditional the Het Volk which gained in 1974, 1975 and 1980 and in Liege-Bastogne-Liege which gained in 1976 and 1978. He took part in 6 Tours of France with the following classifications: 50e in 1970, 60e in 1971, 26e in 1972, 21e in 1974, not classified in 1977 and 4th in 1978.

With the Tour de France 1972, Joseph Bruyère gained 1 victory in the 19th stage of Auxerre to Versailles. It had happiness to carry the Yellow jersey by 2 times, in 1974 during 3 days and in 1978 during 8 days.
