Joseph Cuillandre
Joseph Cuillandre ( Jos Kuilhandr in Breton), is born with Molène in 1881 in a family from Breton fishermen. It integrates the faculty of letters of Rennes and obtains its doctorate there. Teacher shining as much as scholar, it becomes a symbol of the defense of the culture Breton while making publish under the pseudonym of Glanmor of the traditional songs in 1905. Others will encase the step later to him, affirming the Breton identity.
Resisting during the war, he dies in Rennes in 1955, and leaves unfinished his last challenge: the first Breton language dictionary.
Its grandson is Herve Cuillandre, photographer and Breton writer.
