Teodor Józef Konrad Korzeniowski h. Nałęcz writer Polish of English language, which will take the name of Joseph Conrad . Born the December 3rd 1857 with Berditchev under Russian occupation today in Ukraine, it belonged to a family of the Polish nobility (Szlachta). It is a Romance great writer mixing maritime, Philosophie and traditionalism Polish. He is regarded as one of the most brilliant writers of English language. He is deceased the August 3rd 1924.

A writing

In 1896, it published its first book, the Madness Almayer , where it depicts the perdition of a Westerner in Malaysia. Conrad usually spoke French, but, detail amusing, it spoke it with a Marseille accent, having learned it at the time of its stay in the city phocéenne. André Gide was his intercessor in the French literary circle. He translated itself Typhon .
