Joseph Choy

Joseph Choy is a French player of Rugby to XV, born the August 19th 1905 with Homps, of 1,80  m for 92  kg, having evolved/moved at the station of pillar (and in national selection) or of second line to RC Narbonne, managing a service station downtown.

Little before the Second world war, it passed to the ACE Carcassonne XIII (in 1938, birth date of the club).

Career

  • 10 selections (+ 1 not off.) in team of France has, of 1930 with 1936
    (because of the withdrawal of France of the Five Nations tournament in 1932, its 5 last selections of 1933 with 1936 were disputed vis-a-vis only one country: the Germany!)

  • Second of the tournament of the 5 Nations: in 1930 (victorious of Irish on their ground this year) and 1931
  • Vice-champion of France in 1932 and 1933 (he is the unhappy captain of Narbonne at the time of these the first two finales of the club! - at the sides of François Lombard -)
