Joseph Chamberlain

Joseph Chamberlain (July 8th 1836 - July 2nd 1914) is a British statesman of the end of 19th and beginning of the 20th century. Imperialist and protectionist, he was in particular secretary with the colonies (1895-1903) and caused the scission of the liberal party.
He is the father of British the Prime Minister Arthur Neville Chamberlain (1869-1940), and of the Foreign Minister Austen Chamberlain (1863-1937), Nobel Prize of peace 1925.
