Joseph Bramah
Joseph Bramah is a mechanic and inventive English born with Stainborough in 1748 and deceased with London the December 9th 1814.
One owes him in particular the Spring lock or safety lock, the hydraulic Presse, a Wood planer , a machine to number the banknotes, and a Chasse of water. It improved the pumps with fire, the steam engines, the presses of printing works, etc
