Under the Revolution

In 1790, he is administrator of this district. In 1792, Joseph Antoine Boisset is elected appointed Convention by the department of the Drome. Under the Directory, he is elected with the Conseil of Old the by the department of Drome, re-elected in 1798 by the Département of Ardeche.

Under the Consulate and the First Empire it withdrew political life. Of return in its native land he lived of his modest situation of inspector of the weights and measures and finishes his life like advising prefecture in Lyon.
