Joseph (dictionary)

The Joseph is an artistic dictionary published in three volumes plus a supplement, written by Edouard-Joseph. Its title is biographical Dictionnaire of the contemporary artists .

  • 1st volume has - E, completed to print on April 30th, 1930, at Braun & Co, Mulhouse-Dornach-Paris, 478 pages.
  • 2° volume F - My, completed to print on November 15th, 1931, at Georges Lang, 11, rue Curial in Paris; 478 pages.
  • 3° volume Me - Z, completed to print on December 15th, 1933, at SADAG with Bellegarde, (Ain), 478 pages, including two of errata and a table of the monograms.
    • Supplement completed to print on January 15th, 1937, at SADAG.
The interest of the Joseph, is to give a certain number of information on artists of the 20th century, forgotten a little by the history of Article.
