Joseph-Boniface Franque

Joseph-Boniface Franque , 1774, the Boxwood (Drome), deceased with Naples in 1833. Twin brother of Jean-Pierre Franque, Joseph-Boniface will profit like his brother from an financial aid, decided by the National Assembly; decree of the January 15th 1792. The two brothers will be then pupils of David. In the workshop of this last, they will be close to the group of the Barbus animated by Quays. In 1813, Joseph-Boniface will be named professor of drawing to the Carrara marble Academy, thereafter it is established as professor of drawing to the Academy of the Art schools of Naples.
