honourable the Joseph-Alfred Mousseau (born the July 18th 1838 and dead the March 30th 1886) was a politician Québécois. He was Prime Minister for Quebec July 31st 1882 with the January 23rd 1884.

Born with Holy-Genevieve-with-Berthier, with the Low-Canada, Mousseau is initially elected with the House of Commons of Canada as a preserving Député of the county of Bagot, and is re-elected with three recoveries. In 1880, it is named with the cabinet Prime Minister John A. Macdonald, initially at the position of president of the private Conseil of the Queen for Canada, then as a Secretary of State for Canada.

Mousseau leaves the federal policy to become preserving Prime Minister Quebec in 1882. He resigns the January 22nd 1884 after being appointed judge. He dies in Montreal in 1886.

He is buried with the Cimetière Our-Lady-of-Snows, in Montreal.
