Joseph-Alcide Savoy
Joseph-Alcide Savoy (Saint-Albert-with-Warwick, June 5th, 1872 - Sherbrooke, February 4th, 1933) was a politician and Business man Québécois. He was Député with the legislative Assemblée of Quebec, representing the district Nicolet of 1917 with 1933, under the banner of the Liberal party of Quebec.
Originating in Saint-Albert-with-Warwick, it made its studies with the Collège Sacred Heart of Arthabaska and worked as wood merchant, owner of farm and owner of factory. It was voluntary with the Société Saint-Jean-Baptist, the Forestiers catholics and the Chevaliers of Colomb. He was appointed liberal of Nicolet of 1917 with 1931, having been re-elected four times. He is deceased with Sherbrooke, on February 4th, 1933.
