Passed professional in May 1967 in the northerner team " Pelforth - Savage-Lejeune" , it made very good starts, in particular in the " Four days of Dunkirk " , which led it to be selected in the team of the " Bleuets" Tour de France. Benjamin of the Turn 1967, it finished in an excellent 17th place, after having gained the 11th stage Briançon - Digne by regulating with the sprint three escaped runners like him.
