Jose Padilla was born in the New Yorkean district from Brooklyn the October 18th 1970, it is an American citizen, born from a family originating in Puerto Rico.

It was converted with Islam into Prison under the name of Abdullah Al-Muhajir . He is regarded as a islamist Terroriste operative for Al-Qaïda by the Federal government of the United States.

He was stopped with Chicago the May 8th, 2002 after a stay in Afghanistan then held in a military prison, as a Enemy combatant then transferred in November 2005 towards federal justice.

Initially suspected of preparing a “ radiological Bombe ” it is finally judged in front of a civil court of Miami (Florida) where it is recognized guilty for “ membership of an terrorist cell abroad ” on August 16th, 2007.
