Jose Mourinho

Jose Mourinho (of her complete name Jose Mário back Santos Mourinho Felix ) is a trainer of football Portuguese. “ Special The One ” as it calls itself, although décrié by some, and adulated by others, belonged to the best technicians in the world.

Mourinho was in particular the trainer of FC Oporto and Chelsea. It leaves its post of trainer of Chelsea the September 19th 2007 at the evening, officially by amicable agreement, following a stormy dispute with the president of the club Roman Abramovitch, after a tie conceded with Rosenborg in residence in Ligue of the Champions.

Career

He was trainer and manager of the Chelsea Football Club of the June 2nd 2004 until the September 19th 2007. He directed FC Oporto before arriving at the London club. With the Portuguese club, it gained the UEFA Cup, the League of the Champions 2 cuts of Portugal and two Championships of Portugal of football.

It was born the January 26th 1963 with Setúbal with the Portugal. He is the son of the former goalkeeper Felix Mourinho. He does not continue a career of professional player but watch of the aptitudes for management.

He holds a university training in physical education specialized in football. It is with this formation that it will start as welfare man. Noticed by the trainer of the Estrela da Amadora, he will see himself offering a post of assistant-trainer. It will not resist the sirens of the billionaire Russian of Chelsea, Roman Abramovitch, eager to build a football club of very first plan on the European scene. He becomes the trainer best paid world (£4,2 million in 2003, then £5,2 million in 2005).

The celebrity of Mourinho as a trainer has equal only her provocative side, which is worth to him many enmities in the world of football. Indeed, its noisy declarations and its arrogant tone (it autoproclamé “ The Special One ” and treated Arsène Wenger of “Peeping Tom”, because according to him, it spent its time to look at and speaking about Chelsea, before being excused) made the happiness of the British tabloïds.

The September 19th 2007, after a difficult beginning of the season (defeat vis-a-vis Aston Villa in championship, tie vis-a-vis the Blackburn Rovers and against Rosenborg in League of the Champions), Mourinho decides to leave the club, under the pressure of the owner of the club, Roman Abramovich, with which it had maintained the difficult relations for several months. According to the club, the departure is done by mutual assent.

In three seasons, Mourinho does better than all the preceding trainers of Chelsea, with two championships of England, a Cut of England and two Cuts of the League. Only the League of the Champions will refuse with him, which constitutes one of the reasons of its departure.

Moreover, Mourinho, by entering the seasons spent to Oporto and Chelsea, holds the record of inviciblity in championship in residence with 99 matches without defeat in 5 seasons (38 matches unconquered with Oporto and 61 with Chelsea).
