Jose Mauro de Vasconcelos (February 26th 1920 with Rio de Janeiro - July 25th 1984 with São Paulo) is a writer Brésil IEN.

Writer in the Indian and Portuguese beginnings, he is the author of My beautiful orange tree , Allons to awake the sun and the Palate Japanese , inspired of his difficult childhood and become traditional of children's literature, as well as about fifteen novels and accounts. Sportsman and traveller, it practiced many trades, in particular in the cinema world and of television.
