Jose Mariano da Conceição Velloso

Jose Mariano da Conceição Vellozo (1742 - 1811) is a Brazilian botanist who catalogued many plants like: Anadenanthera colubrina Vell. in Florae Fluminensis (1825-27; 1831).

It was born with Tirandentes, in the State of the Minas Gerais and died in Rio de Janeiro.
