Jose Manuel Fuente
Jose Manuel Fuente Lavandera is a Spanish cyclist born the September 30th 1945 in Limares (Asturies) and deceased the July 18th 1996 with Oviedo. It was professional of 1970 with 1976.
Pure climbing, Fuente is distinguished especially in the races with stages. It thus gained 4 times the Grand Prix of the Mountain from the Tour of Italy and 1 time that of the Tour of Spain. It with the characteristic to have gained stages in the three Large Turns. He knows the dedication by gaining the Turn of Spain 1972, whereas it was not at the beginning that the team-member of the favorite Miguel-Maria Lasa.
